Elijah Christian, MPA

Elijah Christian serves as the Community Programs Manager for Prisma Health's Community & Social Health Department, where he leads initiatives focused on chronic disease prevention and management, performance measurement and evaluation, Prisma Health's Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) processes, and the data infrastructure that supports community and social health programs and services.

With nearly a decade of experience supporting hospitals, public health organizations, nonprofits, and community coalitions across North and South Carolina, Elijah is passionate about using data, collaboration, and strategic partnerships to improve health outcomes. He believes that lasting improvements in community health are achieved when healthcare systems, community organizations, and residents work together to create environments that make healthy choices easier.

Since joining the Live Healthy Richland County Core Team in late 2025, he has been committed to fostering collaboration among community partners to expand equitable access to healthy eating and active living opportunities while helping build a healthier Richland County for all residents.
